Tanapa: Tanzania National Parks Authority. It’s the governmental body responsible for the management of national parks in Tanzania. TANAPA’s primary role is to conserve and manage the biodiversity of the country’s national parks, promote sustainable tourism, and ensure that these natural resources benefit the local communities and the nation as a whole. They manage some of the most famous parks in Tanzania, including Serengeti National Park, Kilimanjaro National Park, and Tarangire National Park.
